These Partner Program Terms (“Partner Terms”) are a contract between you and Macro Automation Inc, a Delaware corporation (“Macro Automation”, “we”, “us”). They govern your participation in the Macro Automation Studio (“MAS”) partner program: referring customers to MAS through your partner link or code, using the partner portal, and receiving commission. They add to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, which continue to apply. If these Partner Terms and the Terms of Use conflict on a partner matter, these Partner Terms win. By applying to the program, accepting a partner account, or using a partner link or code, you accept these Partner Terms.
Joining the program
You must be at least 18 years old, able to form a binding contract, and not barred from receiving United States software or payments under sanctions law. You apply through the form on the partner page; we review each application and may accept or decline it without giving a reason. A partner account is personal to you or to the company you named in the application and may not be transferred. Every MAS customer with a paid subscription may also refer friends from inside the app under the same rules, with the same commission and the same payout terms; the word “partner” in these Partner Terms covers both.
Your link, code and account
We give you a referral link, a short link and a referral code. You may share them anywhere these Partner Terms allow, and you may add a channel label to the link to see which channel converts. Keep your portal credentials private; you are responsible for everything done through your partner account. Tell us at support@automationmacro.com as soon as you suspect misuse.
How referrals are credited
A referral is credited to you when a person who arrived through your link, downloaded the installer your link produced, or entered your code in the app or at checkout creates an account and that account meets all of these conditions: it is less than 60 days old, it has never made a payment, it is not credited to another partner, and it is not you, a member of your household, an account you control, or someone you paid or rewarded to sign up. The first valid signal wins; a later signal does not move a referral to a different partner. Credited referrals are shown in your portal. We may correct a credit that was made in error, and we decide disputes between partners over the same customer in good faith on the evidence we have.
Commission
Commission is calculated on each payment a credited customer makes to us, after any discount and after the payment processor’s fee, and is split by what the payment covers:
- Self-hosted plans (the Individual device tiers and the Business plan): 25% of the net amount.
- Cloud devices: 5% of the net amount.
- AI credits (monthly allowances and credit purchases): 5% of the face value, paid as MAS credits to a MAS customer account you link in the portal, not as cash.
Commission accrues on every payment while the customer has been continuously subscribed since their first payment. If the customer has had no active or past-due subscription for more than 30 days, the referral closes permanently and later payments by that customer, including after a return, earn nothing. Payments that recover inside the processor’s retry period do not count as a gap, and neither does a change of plan, device count, billing cycle or payment provider without a gap. No commission is paid on access we grant for free, on trials, or on payments we refund before they settle. We may change the rates or the parts of a payment that carry commission with 30 days’ notice in the portal and by email; a change applies to payments made after it takes effect.
Payouts
At the start of each month, everything you earned in the previous calendar month becomes payable, net of reversals. Payouts are initiated by our team from the partner dashboard and go to the PayPal email on your account; we normally pay payable balances within the first half of the following month. The minimum payout is $50; a smaller balance carries into the next month. PayPal is the only payout method; you enter your PayPal email in the portal and are responsible for its accuracy. Amounts are in US dollars; PayPal’s fees and any currency conversion on your side are yours. We cannot pay partners who live in, or would receive payment in, a country or region under United States sanctions, or where PayPal does not operate; we may decline an application, or suspend a partner account, for that reason, and we ask for your country when you apply. Commission shown in the portal before it is paid is an estimate that may still change through reversals.
Refunds, chargebacks and adjustments
If a payment you earned commission on is refunded in whole or in part, charged back, disputed, or reversed for any reason, the corresponding commission is reversed and deducted from your total, whether or not it was already paid to you. Your balance can become negative and is recovered from later commission before anything is paid out. We may also reverse commission that resulted from a breach of these Partner Terms, from a credit made in error, or from fraud by the customer.
Promotion rules
You may promote MAS on your own websites, videos, streams, newsletters, communities and social accounts. You may not:
- bid on “Macro Automation”, “Macro Automation Studio”, “MAS”, our domain, or misspellings of them in paid search or paid social advertising, or use them in your own domain names or account handles in a way that suggests you are us;
- run coupon or deal sites, promise or advertise discounts, cashback or rewards for signing up, or place your link where people are paid or rewarded to click it;
- use bots, scripts, incentivized traffic, cookie stuffing, iframes, pop-unders, redirects or any technique that credits you for people who did not knowingly follow your link or enter your code;
- refer yourself, your household, accounts you control, or accounts you create for others;
- make claims about MAS that our own site does not make, in particular about what apps or games allow, about detection, or about results;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or promote MAS on sites or in communities where that violates their rules;
- present yourself as our employee or representative, or use our logo and name other than to say that you are a partner.
Disclosure
You must clearly disclose, next to your link or code and in a way your audience will see before they click, that you are a MAS partner and earn a commission on sign-ups, as the United States Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and comparable rules elsewhere require. “Paid link” or “I earn a commission if you subscribe through this link” is sufficient; a bare “affiliate link” or a note buried in a description is not.
Customer information and confidentiality
The portal shows you the customers credited to you: name, email address, plan, device counts, subscription status, renewal date and payment dates, amounts and status. This information is given to you only so you can support those customers and see what you have earned. You must keep it confidential, use it for no other purpose, not sell, share, publish or export it beyond your own records, protect it with the same care as your own account data, and delete it when your participation ends. You must not contact credited customers in a way they would not expect from you, and you must never present yourself to them as Macro Automation. You cannot change a customer’s account, and nothing in the portal lets you cancel, refund or alter a subscription.
Access you grant to customers
If we enable it on your account, you may grant a credited customer a limited number of free days of self-hosted access from the portal, within the monthly budget and per-customer limits shown there, with a reason we record. Grants are a courtesy you extend on our behalf; they never earn commission, must not be advertised or sold, and may be withdrawn from your account at any time.
Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes on the commission you receive. Where the law requires us to report payments to a tax authority, we may ask you for the information needed to do so. Credits paid instead of cash may be reported at their fair market value.
Suspension and termination
You may leave the program at any time by telling us at support@automationmacro.com; earned commission above the minimum is paid on the next payout date, after reversals. We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time with notice, and immediately and without notice for a breach of these Partner Terms or the Terms of Use, for fraud or suspected fraud, or where the law requires. On termination for breach or fraud, unpaid commission is forfeited and referrals credited to you stop earning. If your partner account has had no credited referral and no portal sign-in for six months, we may close it after notice by email. We may end the program as a whole with 30 days’ notice, in which case we pay earned commission above the minimum on the next payout date.
Liability and independence
You are an independent party, not our employee, agent or representative, and you have no authority to bind us. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these Partner Terms is limited to the unpaid commission you have earned, and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits. Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the Terms of Use (intellectual property, privacy, term and termination, changes, disclaimers and limitation of liability) apply to the program as they apply to the Service.
Changes
We may change these Partner Terms. Material changes are announced in the portal and by email at least 30 days before they take effect, except changes required by law or needed to stop abuse, which take effect when posted. Continuing to use your link, code or portal after a change means you accept it.
