After the download
From installer to first run in four steps
The Windows installer takes a few minutes because it sets up everything the app needs. After that, everything happens inside the app.
- 1
Install
Run the installer or open the DMG. On Windows, approve the administrator prompt and wait for setup to finish.
- 2
Sign in
Use your email or your Google account. New accounts start the free trial from the Subscription page.
- 3
Add a device
Start BlueStacks or another emulator with ADB on, or create a cloud device, and add it under Device Groups.
- 4
Run something
Install a bot from the Marketplace, describe a task to MAS Agent, or open the Code Editor and write Python.
Requirements
What the app needs
MAS itself is light. The emulator you run beside it is what needs memory and a capable processor, so size the machine for the emulator.

Download questions
Which download do I need?
Windows users get a 64-bit installer for Windows 10 or Windows 11. Mac users get a DMG built for Apple Silicon Mac (M1 to M5). There is no Intel Mac build and no Linux build. The page picks the download for the system you are on; the other one is a click away.
How does the install work?
On Windows, run the installer and approve the administrator prompt; it copies the app, then sets up its own Python environment, which takes a few minutes. On a Mac, open the DMG and drag Macro Automation Studio to Applications. Sign in with your email or Google account when the app opens. The install guide walks through every step and the errors people hit.
Is it free to try?
Yes. Every new account can start a 3-day free trial of the Individual plan from the Subscription page inside the app. The trial converts to a paid plan unless you cancel before it ends, and you can cancel in the app at any time. The refund policy explains the rest.
What do I need besides the app?
Something to automate: an Android emulator on this computer (BlueStacks, LDPlayer, MuMu Player and MEmu are discovered automatically), a MAS cloud device that runs in our cloud, or your own phone connected over adb. On a Mac, MAS runs natively on Apple Silicon and drives an emulator that runs on the Mac, a cloud device, or a phone.
How do updates work?
The app updates itself. When a new version is out it downloads the update, verifies it with a SHA-256 hash and installs it; you do not fetch a new installer for each release. The version numbers on this page are read live from the same update service.
Is there a mobile or web version?
No. Macro Automation Studio is a desktop app for Windows and Apple Silicon Mac. It can drive a phone or a cloud device, and macros running on cloud devices keep going with your computer off, but authoring, scheduling and device management happen in the desktop app.
Is the download safe?
The installers are built from our own source and served from our own storage over HTTPS; the link on this page is the only official one. The app talks to our servers only when you sign in, sync projects, bill, or use cloud features, as described in the privacy policy. If your antivirus flags a fresh build, it is reacting to a new binary; the Mac build is code-signed and the updater verifies signatures.
Stuck on the install?
The install guide covers the errors people hit. For anything else, Discord answers fastest, or write to support@automationmacro.com.
