BlueStacks Setup Guide

Follow this baseline setup before running automation in MAS. The flow is the same for Windows and macOS BlueStacks environments.

Keep your emulator display settings consistent after calibrating macros. If resolution or DPI changes later, visual matching can drift.

1) Install BlueStacks

2) Recommended emulator settings

Performance

  • - CPU: 2 cores (Higher is fine for testing and developing)
  • - RAM: 4GB+ if available

Display

  • - Resolution: Portrait, 540x960
  • - DPI: 240

3) Enable ADB

  1. Open Bluestacks Settings via Cog Icon
  2. Click Advanced
  3. Enabled ADB
  4. Take note of the port number it will come after 127.0.0.1! It starts at 5555. In this screenshot below it is 5625

Troubleshooting

  • Device not visible in MAS: restart BlueStacks, then relaunch MAS and recheck device list, or try redoing step 3 (Re-enabling ADB)
  • Clicks are offset: Make sure the script you are running fits the resolution requirements!
  • Run is laggy: reduce background apps, increase cores and ram in the bluestacks settings.

BlueStacks ready?

Once stable, move to marketplace macros or your custom bot flow.
