How to Run a Macro from Marketplace

This guide walks you through finding a macro in the MAS Marketplace, applying your settings, and launching a clean first run.

Prerequisites

  • Latest Macro Automation Studio installed
  • At least one emulator/device connected
  • Marketplace access available in your MAS account

Step-by-step

1) Open Marketplace on the top of the navigation bar

Here, you will find some available macros currently officially supported.

2) Select Download

Clicking Download will automatically add this macro to your Macros Library

3) Open Devices on the top of the navigation bar

Here, you will be able to manage multiple devices as groups!

4) Create a new group!

Click the Create New Group Button and add a name and description.

5) Click Add Device on top right!

This will allow you to enter in your device details and add it to your group.

6) Enter in Device Details

Add a name, select the port number, and select the Macro you downloaded from the Marketplace!

7) Run your Macro!

Click Run and select Show Logs on the right - and you are done! You have successfully ran your macro!

8) Additional Settings

Some Macros have custom configurations! Click this hamburger button on the right side of the macro to view them!

Common issues

  • Macro cannot find buttons: recheck emulator resolution/DPI and image matching thresholds. Make sure they match what the macro requirements specify!
  • Run stops early: View logs to verify you didn't miss any steps!

Open MAS, choose your macro, and launch a short validation run.
