Why a real phone

Some apps check for real hardware before they let you in. A physical device gives them exactly that, with nothing else about your setup changing.

Real hardware, not virtual

A phone with its own chip, sensors, battery and radio. Apps that refuse virtual devices see an ordinary handset.

Nothing new to learn

It appears in the device list next to your emulators and cloud devices. The same macros, the same Python SDK, the same MCP tools, with no changes to what you already built.

Runs while you are away

Hosted in our rack with a live screen you can watch, so a macro or MAS Agent keeps running with your own PC off, the way a cloud device does today.

Scales the same way

Add physical devices to device groups, give each its own settings and schedule, and run one macro across all of them.

How it will work

The plan follows cloud devices step for step, because that flow already works.

    Pick a physical device

    Add it from the same place you add a cloud device. It boots, appears in your device list, and streams its screen to the studio.

    Run what you already have

    Marketplace bots, MAS Agent macros and your own Python scripts run on it unchanged. The macro taps a real screen instead of a virtual one.

  3. 3

    Leave it running

    Schedule it, put it in a group, and watch the logs from anywhere. Stop and resume keep the device and its data.

Where we are

We are building this now. Here is what is settled and what is not, so nobody has to guess.

Settled

  • Real Android phones in a rack we operate ourselves.
  • Managed from the studio like a cloud device: live screen, logs, device groups, scheduler.
  • The same macros, SDK and MCP tools. It is a new device type, not a separate product.

Not decided yet

  • Pricing. It will be a per-device monthly add-on like cloud devices, but the number is not set.
  • Regions. Where the first phones are hosted is open; the waitlist tells us where the demand is.
  • Launch date. There is no date to give yet. The waitlist gets the first invitations.

Physical devices FAQ

What is the difference between a cloud device and a physical device?
A cloud device is a virtual Android instance on a GPU server, and it is what you can add today. A physical device is a real phone in our rack. Both are managed from the studio the same way; the physical one exists for apps that check for real hardware. See cloud devices.
Can I use my own phone today?
Yes. Plug an Android phone into the computer running the studio and it appears as a device, with the same macros and tools. Physical devices add the hosted version: a phone we keep running for you. See devices.
Will my macros need changes?
No. A macro sees a screen and taps it. Marketplace bots, MAS Agent output and Python scripts will run on a physical device the way they run on an emulator or a cloud device.
When do physical devices launch, and what will they cost?
There is no date or price to share yet. The waitlist hears first, with the pricing, before anything is announced publicly.
What happens to my email?
We store it with the product you asked about, email you once when physical devices open, and delete it after launch unless you become a customer. Details in the privacy policy.
